My name is Laura Jayne Murdock and L.J.M. Fitness is my fitness brand that has been in operation for well over 8 years now. I have always been interested in health and fitness from a young age.
Before Starting pole I was a very quite, shy and not a very confident person. Pole has brought me out of my shell, and changed the shy girl I was for so many years to the woman I am today. I am the fittest, strongest and in the best shape I have ever been in at any point in my life. I owe it all to pole fitness. It started a hobby but loved it so much I completed my Pole Fitness Instructor courses and started teaching and never looked back.
Pole has helped me so much that I now take great pleasure in teaching it to others in the hope that it will help them as much as it has helped me.

Why I love Pole?
- Pole gives you a freedom that you do not get from other exercise, adding your own spin and flair onto the basic moves and shapes. It was very addictive and after my first lesson in June 2011, I was hooked and never looked back.
- Pole is never boring and there is always something new to learn from spins to climbs, to inverts and much more. Since doing pole I have lost 2 Stone and have gained great overall body tone.
- Pole is without doubt a fantastic all over body workout.
- You are lifting your bodyweight for a hour so your strength improves within the first lesson.
